Hi! This Loose Change episode is about the new schedule. Because we are always looking for new content, there will be more columns in the near future. Starting us out will be an excellent article by Jeremiah Cook about Robert E. Howard’s Conan and the new release. Look for it on New Pulp Tales! Loose Change will change to bi-monthly, that’s every other Sunday for those that think it’s every two months.
The writing tip this week is about time. The tip is, get more time. John Grisham, recently a guest on PBS (original air date October 20, 2018) said he hadn’t had a full time job in 30 years. That’s great and I wish him continued success. But many of us don’t have that luxury. If you’re one those people who have to work, no worries; you can still write.
But it will be harder.
To say otherwise is a falsehood. Writing well is hard enough. To have to do it while you take care of children or an adult, or keep a full time job, is harder. Some of us will be challenged. I am one of those. But if you want to write, you’ll make the time.
